About Me

Whether I'm recording custom foley,  directing a theatre production, or doing improv with friends, I'm always trying to find the best ways to tell compelling stories.  While my  "Jack of All Trades" mode of operation may seem a bit strange at a first glance, I'm ultimately delighted to work in any position that allows me to help others tell stories to the best of their abilities. In my work, I'm dedicated to creating moments that don't just seem authentic, but actually are to some degree.

I find myself particularly drawn to all things niche, strange, unexplained and underrepresented. I'm a firm believer in the importance of representation and artistic exploration, so I'm always thrilled to help make it happen in practice. I also have a soft spot for comedy and horror, especially when defined genre is used as a tool of reflection, observation, and criticism.

In my work, I take a very holistic and person-centered approach to my communications. I like to get to know the people I'm working with so that we can communicate and collaborate smoothly throughout the process. I believe that the best productions are ones where everybody involved is personally motivated to do their best, so I always try to foster an environment where people are excited to work, grow, and learn.

I graduated from Bennington College in the Spring of 2022 with my BA in theatre and audio engineering. Within my majors, I specialized in theatre direction, comedy writing and analysis, and podcast/audio drama production. As my advanced work in 2021, I directed and designed a production of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind to go up on Bennington College's Mainstage. In addition to my majors, I also studied theatre tech, traditional cultural folk music and social psychology. In my time at Bennington, I was the recipient of the Nicky Martin Scholarship for the performing arts.
